Perhaps the most sensible thing to do when things are not going your way is to take a brief hiatus, regroup your thoughts and then come back with more conviction and clarity. This is most needed when you are working in the film industry where success and failure go hand in hand. Those who took that break have always done well when they returned.

Speed director Puri Jagannadh is considered one of the trendsetting filmmakers in the Telugu Film Industry and he is the master of masala potboilers. While those credentials hold true, reality remains that he has been going through a major flop streak. His much hyped ‘Mehbooba’ became a colossal disaster at the box office.

Looking at all these, some of the film intellectuals are suggesting it is time Puri takes a break and then comes back with a clear head. Apparently, Puri has already been throwing a carrot to aggressive star Gopichand during the ‘Pantham’ function and this has not gone too positively with hardcore Puri admirers. Let us see what this filmmaker would do.
