Taapsee is being considered to play the role of Mithali Raj as per the Bollywood reports. Mithali Raj has inspired thousands of women, with her performance on the field in cricket. Being the captain of Indian cricket team women's wing, it is believed that her story would inspire many people.

Though the biopic is being planned, the scripting work is in its initial stages. Mithali is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket. Also, Mithali Raj is the only woman to cross the 6,000 run mark in the ODI format. Taapsee is considered apt for the role.
