Ravi Teja has shelved the Theri Telugu remake and is gearing up for the release of his other projects. The remake was on cards since a long time but keeping the collections of his past two films in mind, it is said that Ravi Teja decided to say bye to this project.

But to keep the promise he has given to director Santosh Srinivas Ravi Teja has asked him to come with a fresh story and it is now okayed by Mass Maharaja. Ravi Teja is shooting for Amar Akbar Anthony and also has VI Anand project in kitty.

Both Touch Chesi Chudu and Nela Ticket have been disasters at the box office and so, Ravi Teja is being careful about what he is choosing now. It was only Raja The Great which bought his back to fame again.
