Though his actual surname is Yarlagadda, most of us would connect better when the soft spoken hero Sumanth is tagged as the Akkineni Hero. In a way, he belongs to that compound so it should not be an issue. Despite having the right ingredients, Sumanth could not shine as much as he should but that has not deterred his spirits.

For a long time, Sumanth was on a hiatus of sorts but now it appears he seems to have increased the momentum. The decent response to his movie ‘Malli Raava’ seems to have boosted his confidence in a big way and right now Sumanth has not one or two but a total of three projects in the pipeline.

While he would be stepping into the shoes of his iconic grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the biopic on great N T Rama Rao, Sumanth would also be seen in a grey shade role in the movie ‘Idam Jagat’. Following this is yet another movie ‘Subramanyapuram’ which is touted to be a thriller. This is a good choice of movies Sumanth!
