Hyderabadis once again showed their Chalta Hai attitude. While celebrities set aside all their important schedules and came out to cast their votes yesterday when Telangana went to assembly elections, Hyderabadis decided to enjoy the holiday in the comfort of their houses or going on vacation.


The polling percentage dropped down drastically ringing alarm bells. It was just 35% by 3 PM yesterday. This angered director Koratala Shiva who fired on Hyderabadis. He came with a powerful post venting his anger saying “What’s happening to Hyderabad. 35% polling till 3 o’ clock. Shame on the urban voter. # TelanganaAssemblyElections’ The day before polling Koratala asked everyone to come and use their right to vote. He posted Take charge of your future for the next five years. Ensure you take responsibility of your rights and duties. DO VOTE’  Despite the message, Hyderabadis chose to ignore him and all other celebrities shocking everyone. These are the same Hyderabadis who give lectures on anything and everything about governance and global politics.


Many celebrities apart from the Election Commission asked people to use their right to vote. They expected an increase in voting percentage but the drastic dip came as a shock to everyone. Celebrities along with all the right thinking citizens are extremely furious with Hyderabadis who chose not to vote
