The moment one hears of the word ‘Satyagrahi’ movie lovers virtually remember Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Now Satyagrahi talk surfaced again thanks to Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s speech in Dallas, USA.

When Pawan was on a success spree scoring hits in the year 2006, he announced the project Satyagrahi and even surprised all by saying that he would direct the film. The film was also launched with AM. Ratnam as a producer.

The first look poster released by Pawan Kalyan and the makers drove masses crazy. Even as Pawan Kalyan’s fans and masses started speculating about the film’s storyline and the role of Pawan in it, they got a huge shock when Pawan sprang a surprise by shelving the project.

He did not offer any explanation for his sudden decision. Now after 12 long years, Pawan spoke about Satyagrahi at Jana Sena Pravasa Garjana in the USA. He said he planned to show on screen the issues on which he was fighting in real life. He said however he backed off as he felt that real life problems will not be solved by showing them on screen.

He said the things which he couldn’t do on screen as Satyagrahi , is now doing in real life. Pawan planned his second directorial venture with Satyagrahi after Johnny but he shelved it for the above reasons.
