Playing Riya in Antariksham 9000 KMPH, which is releasing on December 21 was not an easy task for Aditi Rao Hydari.

The Padmaavat actor promoted the film in Hyderabad and she reveals more about the challenges on sets, physical strain and the reason why she accepted the film, in this interview.

Aditi doesn’t accept scripts so easily and she looks for special points to say yes to a project, Asked why she said yes to this, the actor said, “I was pretty impressed when Sankalp came to me with the script. In fact, I asked why me for the role of Riya? And he said that he wants someone who doesn’t like their personal fame affects the character and has imagined me in the character. He wrote a great story and there is no doubt in it,” she said.

She also revealed that shooting for the film was very tough for her as she was simultaneously shooting for another project too. She was juggling from Mumbai to Hyderabad back and forth almost every day. Aditi and her team were working on zero gravity sets and she used a code word ‘Shakira…Shakira’, and her assistant used to come running to loosen her harness.

“It used to be so hard, that at times, the ropes would be too tight for the blood to flow freely. I used to take four painkillers in a day and was under physiotherapy too,” she added.
