Sonu Sood To Play Antagonist In 'Sita'

Sonu Sood is pretty happy as his upcoming film Simmba has hit the screens on Friday. This film is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster film Temper which has Jr NTR in lead role and Prakash Raj as an antagonist.

Soy Sood played the lead antagonist in Simmba, as Durva Ranade and says that the film is special for him. It is not an easy thing to play a role which Prakash Raj has played as people will be comparing. Asked what he has done for it, Sony said that he hasn’t watched the original film at all. “I didn’t want to take any reference from the original film and the character. I wanted to make my own layers for the role and so I did what I have to. I just loved my job,” he said.

Asked why he said yes to the film, the actor said that he was a Rohit Shetty fan always and enjoys being part of his films. He also said that his fans wanted him to do such mass roles as he didn’t do any after Dabangg. “My job is to entertain fans and they want masala entertainers. So I will be doing it,” he said. He also said they he is part of Kannada film Kurukshetra, Kajal Aggarwal and Teja’s Sita, and a couple of more projects.
