Fresh after the success of F2 (Fun & Frustration), Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations announced its next production. This upcoming film is going to be the first collaboration of actor Sharwanand and star actress Samantha Akkineni. It is going to be a remake of super hit Tamil movie - 96, a feel-good romantic drama featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles.

Director of the original version, C Prem Kumar is going to remake the film in Telugu as well. As per our sources, this untitled project will go on floors in March. Samantha, who's part of Majili and Oh Baby, is quite impressed with this subject and has agreed to feature in it. Last year, she delivered a hit by remaking Kannada hit 'U-Turn' and she is keen to repeat the same. Given that this is her first collaboration with Sharwanand who also is a great actor, fans are quite excited about the film.

Announcing this project, SVC Cinemas tweeted "Happy to announce our Production No. 34 starring Sharwanand and @Samanthaprabhu2. Directed by C. Prem Kumar. Shoot starts this March. #SVC34" Other cast and crew details will be announced shortly. IQlikMovies has earlier reported that this project was under discussion and it will take off soon.
