In 2007, filmmaker Srinu Vaitla sprung a surprise by making a film with Vishnu Manchu 'Dhee' and it went on to become one of the biggest hits in the actor's career. The movie was highly appreciated for its out-and-out comedy entertainment and it was super successful at Box-office as well.

Now, the director who is currently reeling under a series of flops is said to be planning for a sequel to 'Dhee' with the same actor. However, nothing is officially finalized. Reports also suggest that it is going to be a multi-starrer. It is reportedly going to be produced by Vishnu's sister Lakshmi Manchu under Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

After Baadshah in 2013, director Srinu Vaitla has delivered four consecutive flops in the form of Aagadu, Bruce Lee, Mister and recently Amar Akbar Anthony. So, this is going to be a highly crucial project for the filmmaker, who scored massive hits in the past, to strike back.
