Bollywood King Khan Shahrukh Khan is currently reeling under a series of flops, as he could not taste success with Raees, Jab Harry Met Sajal and Zero. So, according to the latest reports, SRK is planning to work with a South filmmaker to make a solid comeback.

Reportedly, Shahrukh is in talks with noted Tamil director Atlee, who made successful movies like Mersel, Theri and Raja Rani. He is one of the most sought-after directors and several star heroes of South are ready to work with him. Recently, SRK and Atlee were seen sitting side-by-side at an IPL match between Chennai and Kolkata at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Later, Mr. Khan visited Atlee's office in the city. So, rumors have come out that they are collaborating for a Hindi project. However, no official announcement regarding the same has been made yet.

In the recent past, some speculations were rife that King Khan will star in the remake of Tamil super hit Mersel, directed by Atlee. Also, SRK is rumored to play a guest role in Vijay's next Tamil flick. On top of it, Shahrukh began to follow Atlee on Twitter. So, it remains to be seen if SRK is truly going to partner with Atlee for a Bollywood film.
