The real test begins now for TDP Leader and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. Though he has won the Hindupur constituency for the second time, Balayya is now turned as opposition MLA and it will become very tough for the actor turned politician.
Many of Nandamuri fans are expecting very ‘big’ from the ‘hero’ as he has to take over Telugu Desam Party from its present chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and move forward to serious politics now after. But, close sources to Balayya have cleared the air that Balayya has no plans of overtaking TDP from Chandrababu because CBN has the ability to run TDP towards victory in 2024 elections. On the other hand, it is also learnt that Balayya is going to show his power in assembly as opposition MLA, by questioning ruling party YSRCP led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
On the other side of the coin, it is the 10th win for Telugu Desam Party in Hindupur and second consecutive win for Balayya. Earlier Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and Harikrishna have contested and won this seat.
