Having made on a very low budget, Telugu film 'C/o Kancharapalam' has gone on to gain critical acclaim for its simple, realistic and interesting storyline. The 2018 film, co-produced by Telugu actor Rana Daggubati, also collected good moolah at the box office.
Directed by Venkatesh Maha, the film produced by Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena under Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts in association with Maha Sithralu has bagged several awards and honours. Going into the news, the film is now gearing up for Tamil and Malayalam remake. M Rajasekhar Reddy will bankroll both the remake projects and information of cast and crew will be declared shortly. The film, released by Suresh Productions, was firstly denied entry to National Film Awards as the producer was not an Indian, but a US citizen. Later, Telangana Minister KTR has helped her to apply for national film awards.
