Mehreen made her Tamil debut in 2017 with Nenjil Thiruvinundhal, but couldn’t fetch any films in Tamil industry after that. It has been two years and now, she is back to Tamil films once again. The actress is playing the leading lay in Dhanush’s upcoming film Pattasu, which is being directed by Durai Senthil Kumar.

The film has gone on sets a month ago and the actress is being busy shooting for it. Mehreen is translating the dialogues to Hindi and is learning the meaning and by hearting them. The actress is looking forward to making the utmost out of this film.

Mehreen calls this second film as a rebirth for her in Tamil film industry and is looking forward to doing more number of films. To a leading news portal, she said, “I feel very lucky to be part of this film and it is great to be working with Dhanush sir. He helps me a lot on the sets and tells me not to panic too.”
