In the last couple of years, Tamil actors are slowly losing their market in Telugu after star heroes like Suriya, Vishal and Karthi delivered back to back disasters in the recent past. But, the latest dubbing release 'Whistle' featuring Vijay and Nayanthara has ended the dull phase for Tamil dubbed movies (in Telugu states) and it is generating good numbers at the box-office.


The film directed by Atlee released on October 25, on occasion of Diwali, has impressed mass audiences all over. In Kollywood, Bigil (Tamil version of Whistle) is rewriting many records with a fabulous run. The buyers of Telugu version acquired this sports action film for 7 Cr, and it has surprisingly earned 7 Cr in the first three days of release.


So, all the earnings will now be the profits for the buyers. On another hand, Karthi's Khaidhi is giving a tough competition to 'Whistle' in both Telugu states. Even though there is no clarity on Khaidhi numbers, analysts tell that it is has collected close to break-even figure.
