For quite some time whenever any news came about the towering hunk Daggubati Rana, it had to do with his health or his suddenly shrunk personality. While he has done his bit to clear the air, not much was heard about his movies. In between, there was a talk about his ambitious project ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ but after a while, everything went silent.
But now, after a long time, some news has come. It is heard that ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ has completed its shooting and it is going to be released in five languages. Rana is pairing up with Zoya Hussain in this one and on December 14th the promotions are going to start as it is the eve of Rana’s birthday. Even the release date would be announced that day.
Many years ago, the evergreen matinee idol Rajesh Khanna did a movie with the same title and many felt this was a remake but it is not so. However, there would be few similarities as the film has been made on the backdrop of a forest and it would also have elephants. It would be interesting to see Rana in this new role.
