The Tollywood artist and Chairman of SVBC (Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel), Prudhvuraj, has resigned following the leak of his alleged phone call with a lady employee in which he said 'I was about to hug you from back' and 'I Love You, bye'. The leaked phone call has gone viral on social media and news channels.

To control the damage, YSRCP high command swung into action. TTD (Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam) chairman YV Subba Reddy has asked Prudhvi to step down immediately based on the instructions from Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. Reacting to this leaked phone call, Subba Reddy said that the tapes were sent to Vigilance for the investigation.

While speaking to media in Hyderabad, the senior actor said it was the cheap conspiracy executed by his opponents. 'For this festival, they have made me and my family suffer from false propaganda. But, I am sure that I will be proven innocent. Only after that, I will come back and take up the Chairman post again.
