Mahesh Babu's Sankranthi outing Sarileru Neekevvaru was a highly anticipated movie of the season before it's release. The commercial entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi stands tall at the box-office as it managed to mint a worldwide share of Rs 47.33 Cr at the box-office on day-1.

The trade report from overseas suggests Sarileru has collected in a massive $1.5 million till Sunday morning. Trade analysts are projecting a $2 Million for the weekend despite strong competition from Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. This is the seventh $1.5 Million film for Superstar after Dookudu, Srimanthudu, SVSC, Spyder, Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi. Going by the positive buzz, the movie is expected to continue the same performance over the holiday week.

Trivikram's directorial also had a very strong opening in the United States. The film has already grossed a whopping $1 Million from the premieres and opening day shows. So, both films have enjoyed a humongous opening for this festival.
