Known for his mesmerizing performance, huge stardom, and massive craze, Superstar Rajinikanth has fans all over the world. Every now and then, he shares many personal experiences with fans. But the Superstar also had a love story which was never put out by him. Recently, Rajinikanth’s friend and Tamil film artist Devan shared the love story of Superstar. Devan is a good friend of Rajini who acted with him in several movies including the blockbuster Baasha.

Back in the days of yore, Rajini has once invited his friend to accompany him for dinner in Chennai. As soon as Devan arrived at Superstar’s place, the actor was seen partying with drinks. Few minutes after drinking, Rajini lost senses and opened about his first love with Devan.

“Before entering films, Rajini worked as a bus conductor in Bengaluru. That’s when his first love began with a doctor named Nirmala who used to commute daily in the same RTC bus for which Rajini was a conductor. Soon, they become good friends and Rajinikanth invited her to see his stage performance in Bengaluru. Impressed with his acting, Nirmala sent an application to Madras Film Institute in the name of Rajinikanth (original name: Shivaji Rao Gawkwad) and when they asked him to appear for an interview, he had insufficient funds to travel to Chennai. Then, Nirmala helped him and gave Rs 500 to send Rajini to Chennai. When the former bus conductor went to find Nirmala after returning to Bengaluru, he could not find her as her family relocated to a different town. Since then, Rajini did not meet his first love,” revealed Devan.

Having learned about Rajinikanth’s first love, fans were in for a shock and this real journey qualifies to become a good onscreen love story as well.
