Young hero Naga Shaurya tasted a flop with Ashwathama at the theatres but it looks like the movie impressed the audiences on the small screen. Usually, it happens for a lot of films that they fail to impress audiences on the big screen but creates a sensation during the TV premiere.
The film's premiere took place on Gemini TV recently and it drew a TVR rating of 9.1. Considering the previous ratings for Shaurya's earlier films, this is the best so far in his career. Usually, people show less interest to catch up with thrillers on television and prefer family dramas. But, Shaurya surprised everyone with his film Ashwathama for which he penned the story.
Mehreen Kaur played the leading lady of the movie. The film introduced a new director Ramana Teja. Naga Shaurya's parents produced the film on their home banner IRA Creations.
