Stylish Star Allu Arjun's last film 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' released in the Sankranthi season and it became a blockbuster at the box office.  Usually, the highest grosser of the year will be known to us only at the end of the year. But 2020 seems to be completely different.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, theaters have been closed for the last four months. Even if they are reopened, there is no clarity on whether the audience flock the theaters like before or not.  The important summer season has been wasted already. There is no other top league star hero movie scheduled this year except for  Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab'.  It may be pushed to Sankranti next year considering the high budget of the movie.

There is no other big-ticket film this year releasing this year and other films that are ready for release don't have the stamina to break the records of Allu Arjun film. It seems 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' will be the box office winner this year with the highest collections.
