Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his new movie Soorarai Pottru. Sudha Kongara is the director of the movie. Meanwhile, the actor has signed a new movie under the direction of Pandiraj. There are speculations on this project in the media but the production house Sun Pictures confirmed the film. The production house made an announcement regarding the same.

This is the first time that Suriya is working with Sun Pictures. The director already did Namma Veettu Pillai with the producers and this is his second film. Both the actor and director earlier worked for the film Pasanga 2.
