Post the success of Ek Mini Katha, young hero Santhosh Sobhan is on a roll. The young actor is doing back-to-back films in Telugu right now. The actor already finished Prem Kumar and is currently working on a film with Maruthi. Now, we hear that he will be seen in the remake of Tamil film 8 Thottakal.

8 Thottakal is a Tamil film that revolves around a rookie police officer who loses his gun on duty. What happens after that forms the crux of the story, in an interesting manner. Sri Ganesh who directed the original is said to be doing the film in Telugu as well.

Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmita Konidela grabbed the remake rights of the film and is said to be working on the project. The script work is currently in progress and the complete details of the film will come out soon.
