Telugu film producers decided to sell their movies to the OTT platforms for a direct OTT release. There is no confirmation on when the theatres will be re-opened. In the middle of this, we have clarity on a few Telugu films having a direct release on the OTT platforms.

The latest buzz in the Telugu film industry reveals to us that Narappa, Drushyam 2, and Virata Parvam will be skipping theatrical releases for a direct release on OTT platforms.

Suresh Productions that bankrolled Narappa and Drushyam 2 will premiere the two films on the Amazon Prime Video platform. The release date for the two films will come out soon.

On the other hand, Rana Daggubati's Virata Parvam is also in consideration for a grand release directly on an OTT platform. The film unit will confirm the same officially soon.
