Baahubali is a successful film series in the country. Netflix showed a great interest in the series and wanted to make a web series around Sivagami's character. Mrunal Thakur was roped in to play the Sivagami role. Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru came forward to direct the project. Netflix is disappointed with the series and they scrapped the whole project.

According to the buzz, Netflix has now formed a new team that will re-work the project. Wamiqa Gabbi will now be playing Sivagami's character. She made her debut in Telugu with Sudheer Babu's Bhale Manchi Roju.

Ribhu Dasgupta and Kunal Deshmukh are now on board to direct this project. The shooting will go on a roll from September this year. More details on the project will come out soon.

Netflix is considering it as a prestigious project and wants to make sure no mistake is made in the process of making!
