Kollywood star Dhanush is on a signing spree lately. The actor is all set to come up with his first straight Telugu film under the direction of Sekhar Kammula.

Touted to be a bilingual film which will get released in Telugu and Tamil languages, the makers have already started the pre-production works of the movie.

According to the latest buzz, the film will showcase the times when Madras used to be the capital of both Telugu and Tamil States and the bonding between Telugu and Tamil people.

It seems like the film will be a complete out-and-out political drama just like Leader.

Earlier, the rumors came out that Dhanush will be seen as a middle-class guy who will fight against the education system. There are also speculations that Sai Pallavi will play the female lead in the project. More details on the film are awaited.
