Prabhas and Shruthi Haasan are playing the lead roles in the upcoming Telugu film titled Salaar. Prashanth Neel is the film's director. The film is one of the interesting films being made in South cinema and it will have a pan-India release.

Interestingly, there are reports that the film will have an interesting Indo-Pak war backdrop. As per the speculations, the film will have a retro war backdrop and Prabhas will not only look stylish but will also carry a rugged avatar.

Neel who is known for elevating the hero's image to the sky is going to elevate the mass image of Prabhas perfectly for this project.

The buzz is that Neel penned a fictional story in the backdrop of war just like RRR where the director mixed fiction with facts.
