Superstar Mahesh Babu's new movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata was supposed to hit the screens during Sankranthi next year but the makers postponed the film to give a way for RRR and other releases. Mahesh's film will release on 1st April, 2022.

Interestingly, there are speculations doing rounds in the Tollywood film circles that Vijay Deverakonda's LIGER might also hit the screens on the same date. The film's shoot is yet to come to an end. But, the makers are planning to fasten up things and bring the film for a grand release in April.

If that happens, it will be an interesting box office fight between the two actors. Also, it is going to happen for the first time as the films of both the stars never headed into a clash.
