Amid high expectations, Adivi Sesh starrer, 'Major' is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on 3rd June 2022 in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who was killed in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Just like most of the high budget movies, everyone thought that 'Major' ticket prices will also get increased like 'RRR', 'KGF 2', 'Sarkaru Vari Paata' etc. However, Sesh has rubbished these rumors during his #AskSesh chat session with his fans on social media platforms.
"Reduce ticket rate so that we can watch movies in loop mode and try to save industry.. 175 and,295.. Rate is so high" tweeted a vexed up netizen regarding the ticket price of 'Major'.
Interestingly, Adivi Sesh replied clarifying that the film will have regular ticket prices. "#MajorOnJune3rd will have NORMAL prices because it’s an Extraordinary Story for Normal people :) #AskSesh" replied Sesh. The fans also got a sigh of relief with his tweet.
Mahesh Babu, Anurag Reddy, and Sharath Chandra under Sony Pictures International Productions, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies are bankrolling this project.
