Manam is a special movie in Tollywood in many ways. It happens to be the last film of legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. It is also an offbeat multi-starrer film which had a unique storyline and screenplay.

This special film celebrates its eighth release anniversary today. Manam was released on May 23, 2014. Directed by Vikram K Kumar, this film featured ANR, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Shriya, and Samantha in the lead roles.

It was a blockbuster at the box office. Many people still enjoy watching this film on television. Even the soundtrack composed by Anup Rubens was a smashing hit.

Coincidentally, Vikram and Naga Chaitanya shooting for their upcoming web series Dhootha, on the release anniversary of Manam. Vikram shared a picture of himself posing with Naga Chaitanya, on this occasion.

"8 years of Manam!! Being on the floor with ⁦@chay_akkineni today is the best way to celebrate it :-) thank you all for the love for our film," he tweeted.

Naga Chaitanya will be next seen in the movie Thank You, which is also directed by Vikram. It hits the screens on July 8.
