Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran played the lead roles in the upcoming Telugu film titled Karthikeya 2. The film was supposed to hit the screens this month but now, we hear that it is getting postponed. The makers did not confirm it officially but Nikhil tweeted that the film will release in the first week of August.

When a movie buff on Twitter shared the advance bookings status of Karthikeya 2 in the UK, saying, “#KarthiKeya2 UK. Leicester almost sold out in 25Mins. Tickets opened in @ODEONCinemas. Grab them now,” he tweeted.

Responding to the tweet, Nikhil wrote, “But sorry.. the movie is not releasing on July 22nd.. but in August 1st week. Apologies to the Amazing ppl who booked tickets for the premiere show.. will get it refunded.”

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Karthikeya 2 is bankrolled by Peoples Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
