After attaining stardom with her anchoring, Anasuya ventured into films. She got fame by playing pivotal roles in movies like Kshanam, Rangasthalam and Pushpa. However, Anasuya also tried her luck as a solo lead but is yet to attain success.

She played the solo lead in a few films, but none of them managed to become successful. She was last seen in Kathanam as a lead actor, but it was a flop. Now, she recently came up with a new film titled Darja which was released on July 22.

Anasuya and Sunil played the lead roles in it, Neither of them promoted the film. However, the film failed at the box office now.

Anasuya is a talented actress but her poor choice of films makes her fail as a solo lead. Darja ended up as a disappointment and its time that Anasuya should rethink of her choices.
