The latest sources in Chennai reveal that Trisha is being approached by a couple of political parties and she is said to be thinking to join the Congress party.

Despite having good connections with the regional parties in Tamilnadu, the actress is reportedly planning to join the Congress party. Ahead of the general elections, the Congress party is trying to improve their image and craze in Tamilnadu. As part of the same, they are reportedly planning to give high importance to Trisha.
