The Kashmir Files was one of the biggest hits of this year. Made on a budget less than Rs.15 crores, Kashmir Files went on to earn more than 200 crores at the box office. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, this film features Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty in the key roles.

The Kashmir Files deals with the story of Kashmiri pandits and their lives during and after the Kashmir Exodus that happened in the 1990s.

People were shocked and moved after watching the film and witnessing the suffering that Kashmiri pandits went through. Many states have also made the film tax-free. Such was the impact it created among the audience.

Recently, the Telugu dubbed version of The Kashmir Files was telecasted on Zee Telugu. Shockingly, it got a TRP of just 1.35 from its television premiere.

It looks like people have already watched the film on the OTT platform Zee5 and that is the reason why it got low TRP ratings on television.
