Since the last couple of days, it is being widely reported in the media that Prabhas-starrer Adipurush is getting postponed. Reportedly, it will not release on the scheduled date, January 12, 2023, but will hit the screens during the summer of 2023.

It was also added that the official confirmation about the film's postponement would be out very soon. We hear that the makers want to avoid clashing with other big releases like Waltair Veeraiah (Telugu), Veera Simha Reddy (Telugu), Varisu (Tamil), and Thunivu (Tamil) during the Pongal festive season.

At the same time, there are rumors that Akhil's Agent that was supposed to get a release during Sankranthi will also get postponed. But, there is no clarity on the same. There may be one or two films that will undergo a postponement.
