Last weekend, 'Drishyam 2', a crime thriller starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta was released. The film received rave reviews upon its release and gained a solid box office number by the end of its first weekend. An adaption of a Malayalam movie with the same title, the film has some surprises for everyone.

After a fantastic week 1 performance, 'Drishyam 2' seems to have only enlarged its true potential. It did a business of ₹104.66 CR in the first week and still collected ₹7.87 CR on its second Friday, which is actually more than the fresh release 'Bhediya', which is ₹7.48 CR. As of its second Saturday i.e., day 9 movie has scored around ₹13.50 CR - ₹14.50 CR nett and the overall collection ranges between ₹126.03 CR - ₹127.03 CR. The film is expected to join the ₹200 CR club if the movie continues the same flow.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, 'Drishyam 2' will stream digitally at either end of December or early January and will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
