After a gap of more than four years, Shah Rukh Khan is coming back in a lead role with the film Pathaan. Touted to be an action thriller, this film features Deepika Padukone as the female lead. John Abraham plays the antagonist in it. Yash Raj Films is bankrolling the project and Siddharth Anand is the director of it.

The theatrical trailer of Pathaan was unveiled just about a while ago. Going by it, the film looks like an ultimate action feast. This is probably the biggest action film Shah Rukh acted in. John Abraham plays the role of an international terrorist organization's chief. He plans a deadly mission in India. To handle him, RAW sends its spy Pathaan. How Pathaan stops the terror mission is the crux of the film.

Throughout the trailer, we get to see some breathtaking action sequences. Deepika looks stunning in a glamorous and action avatar. The face-off scenes between Shah Rukh and John will get whistles in theatres for sure. Pathaan is slated for a grand release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on January 25, 2023.
