'Dil' Raju stepped back from the race of Sankranthi and announced a new date for 'Vaarasudu' in a press meet. The film that was supposed to hit the screens on the 11th of this month is gearing up for a grand release on the 14th of January in Telugu states. Dil Raju cited that big star's films shall be given preference, although the reports stated otherwise.

However, there is a different version running in the film circles about the film's delayed release.

The reports state that the Telugu dubbing version is not ready yet and for the same reason, Dil Raju had to postpone the film's release. But, conveniently, he has given a different reason for the postponement of the film.

In the press meet, Raju revealed that the Telugu version should hit the screen on 14 January, while the original shall be released on the prior announced date, 11 January. But, Dil Raju also said that the final copy of the Telugu version is ready and there is no other reason behind the postponement.
