Neurodivergence refers to brain functions that differ from "average" or "typical" behaviors. Other neurodivergent conditions include autism, dyslexia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Importantly, these disorders do not affect a person's intelligence. They cannot be cured but can be managed through therapy, lifestyle changes, and medications. Although ADHD is typically diagnosed in childhood, some, like Fahadh, learn about their condition in adulthood.
