Nag sir gave me full freedom- SV Vishweshwar iQlik Exclusive Interview

SV Vishweshwar- one among the most promising cinematographers in the recent times. In the early stages of his career, he assisted the greats in the field of Cinematography and also got the exposure of Bollywood by working for Hindi films. Now, he is super excited about his work in Raarandoi Veduka Chuddam and at the verge of its release, he shares the experiences & his travel exclusively with iQlikmovies.

Hi Vishweshwar Garu.

Hello.

Are you excited about the release of Raarandoi Veduka Cheddam?

Yes of course.  I am very much excited to see my work on the screen and waiting to get the feedback from the audience.

Can you tell us about the plot of RVC?

RVC is not a regular love story. Even though it is a story of love between two lead actors, director Kalyan Krishna scripted this story in a way that present generation would easily relate them to the lead actors. Mainly director tried to convey the lack of clarity between the lovers in an interesting way.

What were those challenges that you faced while filming?

This film starts from a village with a celebration note and then it moves to the city as per the story. This came out as a big challenge for me to showcase the clear difference between Village & cosmopolitan city.  I hope the visuals would give the difference to the audience.

How much creative freedom that you got from Director & Production House?

In this aspect, I think am absolutely lucky. I am with the team much before the kick start of shooting and I was a part of the core team that pre-visualised the filming process. On this note, I want to thank Director Kalyan Krishna Garu for giving the free hand in handling the things.

How much you relate to this story?

You don’t believe if I say that I can relate to two main relationships. One is with Chaitu-Jagapthi Babu, where I shared the same kind of relationship with my Father and second with Rakul Preet-Sampath, which implies me with my daughter.

Who was that one person stunned you with his/her performance?

Sampath Raj Garu. He was the one person who made me look with awe during the filming. You also will get the same feeling after watching it on screen.

What are the major highlights in the flick?

Naga Chaitanya & Rakul Preet’s roles will leave you an impact on the audience.Chaitu will be seen as a lover boy with a new kind of shade and his character will leave every girl to have a boyfriend with his qualities in the flick. Well, Rakul’s total makeover for this flick is the talk of the town right now. Along with the makeover, Rakul delivered some amazing acting in the movie.

Which was your memorable Incident at the time of the shooting?

Capturing the big league character artists for this flick was a memorable thing for me. This film has every top artist in the Telugu film industry, right from top comedian to top supporting artist.

About the man himself King Nagarjuna.

King Nagarjuna Garu stands out as a supporting pillar for me in the whole process. He just said that “I am giving you a lovely pair and showcase them on screen in the best way possible”. He was fully satisfied with my work and he is very much happy that I kept his word.

Is working with RVC is your Dream Come True Moment?

Yes. Even though I am having many dreams & milestones in life, this opportunity became the first confidence booster for me to go forward with great energy.

What was your travel before RVC?

I joined in Mind Screen film institute at Chennai before foraying into films. This institute was set up by popular cinematographer-director Rajiv Menon. Later, I assisted Rajiv sir for few Ad films before joining ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.

Tell us about your Bollywood experience?

After I joined Ravi K Chandran, I worked for three Hindi flicks- Ghajini, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi & My Name Is Khan. I enjoyed my stint as an assistant to Ravi for four years and during this time, I am fortunate to meet Aamir Khan & Shah Rukh Khan.

Any fond memories with SRK & Aamir?

Aamir Khan is a highly dedicated person and he will always be punctual to the sets. Generally, he doesn’t interact with anyone besides Director  & Cinematographer to be in the character all the time. Coming to SRK, he is a chilled out person and interacts with every crew member in the unit and tries to remember the persons with their names.

Lastly.. What was your Inspiration to enter into this film world?

My Father  & Uncle were very much interested in still photography and in my childhood, I will be their supermodel for their photo shoots. Even without my knowledge, their passion turned into an inspiration for me to be in the media arena. Actually, I never thought it would be a struggle path in the filmy world as I don’t have any major backup here. I am always super confident that I will be something in the industry someday without any doubt.

Okay.. thanks and wish you the best for Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam..

Thank You.
