Narappa is the title of the remake of the Tamil super hit film Asuran. Venkatesh is reprising the role of Dhanush in this Srikanth Addala directorial. There are reports that producer Suresh Babu has already sold the film to a streaming platform for a direct OTT release.
However, his decision welcomed criticism and anger from Venkatesh's fans. The producer is reportedly thinking of revoking his deal with the streaming platform. With the theatres reopening soon, the producer is planning to push Narappa for a release in theatres first.
