Shiva Karthikeyan's College Don opened well at the box office in Telugu. The star Tamil hero has even promoted the film in Hyderabad the other day and with no notable releases yesterday, College Don is performing well at the box office.
Now, it is reported that the theatres are being increased for the film due to the positive talk. The divide talk and high ticket prices of Sarkaru Vaari Paata are also helping College Don in getting good occupancies.
Siva Karthikeyan's last film Varun Doctor had also done well in Telugu. If the makers promoted College Don in a big way, it would have got good openings.
On top of that, it would have also helped Siva Karthikeyan in boosting his market in the Telugu states before his straight Telugu debut, which is being directed by Anudeep of Jathi Ratnalu fame.
