Director Sujeeth made a successful debut in 2014 with Run Raja Run. He got a chance to make his second film with Prabhas. Thus, the pan-India film Saaho happened. However, the disastrous result of Saaho pushed Sujeeth's career at stake.
After Saaho, Sujeeth was considered to direct Lucifer's remake with Megastar Chiranjeevi. But that didn't happen. Later, it was rumoured that he will direct Theri remake with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Till now, there is no update about this film as well. A few weeks back, it was reported that Sujeeth is planning to make a film with Varun Tej. Until now, there is no buzz about this film as well.
The latest we hear is that Run Raja Run's production house UV Creations is planning to remake Theri with Ram Charan. Apparently, they are holding discussions with Sujeeth now. It has to be seen if Charan accepts to remake a Tamil film, especially after gaining pan-India stardom with RRR.
