Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu was released yesterday and it has become a big hit in Tamil. The movie opened to positive reviews and the Telugu version is also expected to do big now.
Earlier, Dil Raju said that his confidence in Vaarasudu's success made him take the decision to postpone the film. The star producer said that the film is a pure family entertainer and is not a competition with Chiru and Balayya's movies.
Dil Raju also expressed confidence that Vaarasudu will replicate the successes of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, F2 and Shatamanam Bhavati, which were also released during the Sankranthi festive season.
"Though it is a family drama, there is a key point in the film which is unique. When audiences come out of theatres, they will remember that point. It will create an impact," said Dil Raju. He said that no matter when his film releases, it will definitely strike gold at the box office.
"That is Dil Raju's brand," he further added.
