Being in the Dussehra race, Sharwanand and Mehreen starer Mahanubhavudu hits the theaters today. Sharwanad who always come with a small risk of competing with the biggies, seem to be quite confident about the movie. Read on for the full review and ratings of Mahanubhavudu.

Story Plot:
Anand(Sharwanand) is a guy with cleanliness disorder. His obsession with cleanliness kind of irritates the co-workers and the others. Carrying sanitizers, air purifiers and tissues all along, makes his life look more like an artificial one.

In this frame of context, he meets Meghana(Mehreen Pirzada) whom he feels is compatible for marriage. Both of them try to convince Meghana's father who is a respectable person in their village. Meghana's father figures out the obsession of Anand and tries to convince his daughter not to marry him.  Will the father agree for Anand-Meghana's wedding? Yes. But here comes the twist in the tale.

In the process of saving Meghana's father from a dangerous situation, Anand loses Meghana's trust. How Anand manages to convince his lover's father, what problems he gets to face during this struggle, how he overcomes his OCD is to be watched in the theaters only.

Performances:
Sharwanad: As usual, Sharwa carries the role of a guy with OCD with ease. His comedy timing is one of the best things in the movie. He made the audience laugh with his extraordinary expressions.

Mehreen Pirzada: Mehreen appears cute in this movie. Her action has improved and also her expressions. Sharwanand and Mehreen look great together on the screen. Mehreen looks elegant in the songs especially.

Vennela Kishore: Vennela Kishore has carried the entertainment all along the movie. His timely punches, his dialogues, and overall presence is one of the biggest pluses for Mahanubhavudu.
Nassar and the others performed well in their respective roles.

Analysis:
Being it a Maruthi directorial, the viewers go with an expectation, as he is famous for his humorous take on the movies. But, there isn't much comedy as much as we expect in a Maruthi's movie. Must say that it entertains the viewers thoroughly.

The first half is all about the establishment of the hero's obsession with cleanliness. The narration falls flat at times and seems to be slow paced. On the other hand, the second half entertains well with some really good punches.

Technical Aspects:
Talking about the technical aspects, the production values fall top on the list, with a very decent output. Must accept that the production values are of high standards for a movie of this budget.

The music is a kind of okayish but definitely goes along with the flow. A slow-paced narration which falls flat at times. The cinematography deserves appreciation. Beautiful capture of the lens, especially in the songs.

Plus Points:
Sharwanad's Action
Vennela Kishore'e Comedy Timing

Minus Points:
Weak Comedy
Drag in the first half
Lengthy Narration

Final Verdict: A decent entertainer, once watchable.
