Vijay Deverakonda is the new age sensation in the Telugu film industry. He achieved this stardom in the span of just four films and recently he faced his first major setback in the form of NOTA movie. Now, Vijay is coming up with a movie called Taxiwaala. This film has been on the headlines as it got leaked during its post-production stage.

Well, the whole film industry stood by Vijay & his team during this period and everyone in Tollywood appealing to the audience to come and watch Taxiwaala movie in theatres.

Amidst of all these rumours, how Taxiwaala movie won the hearts of the audience is discussed in the following Taxiwaala review.

Story:

Shiva (Vijay Deverakonda) comes to Hyderabad in the wake of job searching. He finds cab driver profession as an attractive and economical. It makes him look out for a car to purchase and finds out a vintage car in the second-hand.

As life goes on smoothly, one day Shiva finds out a ghost in his car. Why the ghost is in the car? What are the reasons behind it? Did Shiva able to find out the reason?
These are the questions unfold on the silver screen.

Actors & Performances:

Vijay Deverakonda: He does his role smoothly without any sudden brakes. His performance is like a good condition vehicle in the film.

Priyanka Jawalkar: She is lucky to get such a big platform for her dream debut into the movies. Even though Priyanka ’s role is small, her presence was felt. She got the stuff to stay in the films for a long time.

Vishnu aka Hollywood: He is the surprise and the fun element in the film. This actor will get a lot of offers from here onwards.

Madhunandan: He created fun along with Vishnu & Vijay in the movie. His comic timing has worked well.

Malavika Nair, Yamuna, Kalyani, Ravi Prakash, Uttej gave their best to the respective roles.

Analysis:

First, we need to appreciate producers for giving opportunity or platform to this young director to showcase his talent in the form of Taxiwaala. Rahul Sankrityan’s Sci-Fi concept of Astral Projection is handled in a decent manner with a layer of nice entertainment.

Sai Kumar Reddy’s screenplay and dialogues also helped director Rahul in a big way to present this film in a neat and clean way. However, the audience may or may not believe Astral Projection concept in the movie.

Keeping aside this concept for some time, this movie is engaging and entertaining for sure. Especially the roles of Vijay, Madhunandan & Vishnu are quite entertaining. Well, the flashback episodes in the movie could be dealt with more detail in the movie.

As a first film director, Rahul did a good job by presenting this film in the best possible way.

Technical Aspects:

Technically this movie is very much sound. Especially the background score of Jakes Bejoy and the Cinematography from Sujith is extraordinary. Sreejith’s Editing is also crisp. Well, Sai Kumar Reddy’s Screenplay & Dialogues suited well to the story. DI is superb in the movie.

Plus Points:

+ Technical Team
+ Screenplay
+ Vijay Deverakonda
+ Vishnu (Hollywood)

Minus Points:

- Nothing Much

Final Verdict: Taxiwaala – An Engaging Ride.
