Notable political personalities like Pranab Mukherjee, Jayalalitha, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Oommen Chandy and Siddaramaiah will also be seen adorning the stage. So no doubt is there that is a grand celebration. More importantly, all the film industries will be closed for the 3 days. The days have been divided into some slots. The first day will be there for the Malayam and Tamil film industries. The second day has been allotted for the other two i.e. the Telegu and the Kannad industries. Grand finale has been planned so that it will definitely blow our minds. Hollywood director Stephen Spielberg and Jackie Chan may join the final program. It will also be telecasted worldwide in all the regional languages.

Telugu film industry Backing Out of the Event

The Telegu film industry or the tollywood of the south is reportedly not very eager to participate in the celebration and they are backing out of it. The organizers are still hopeful and they are trying their level best to pull it together. For now though, the event scheduled to be held on the 22nd for the Telegu film industry has been cancelled. The Movie Artists Association has banned the Telegu actors stating the reason for political unrest in the state of Andhra Pradesh due to the proposed division of the Telengana. Though they have performed in the South India International Film festival which is going on now, the chairman of MAA stated that as the event is commercial so the movie stars will be paid for performing. Though several stars like Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and some more have earlier promised to participate, but they are said to be not attending the rehearsals. The rehearsals have started from 7th September. This will definitely create a huge problem for the show though. Hey are making a backup plan by arranging a few small scale artist and the mimicry artists to perform but they fear that it will be just like any audio launch. Meanwhile the stars are also showing less interest and demanded the committee to arrange for the flight and hotel facilities. They further stated that all the big stars can make a guest appearance if ad only if they get to be facilitated by the President of India.

Conclusion

So it is quite clear that the main reason for the stars not willing to participate is mainly due to the inside quarrels of the industry and the political reasons are not only the main reason. Even the chief minister of the state has also cancelled his presence. We sincerely hope that all these problems are cleared out and the event becomes a major one in the history of the Indian film industry.
