The Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha is presently sharing the screen with the legendary Thalaiva of South, Rajinikant in her Tamil debut film ‘Lingaa’. She mentioned that she always feels that the Southern film industry is creatively very rich with the movies and their concepts and that is why she made a way to the Tollywood industry. She mentioned that she was offered a lot of movies from the South after Dabangg but due to her busy schedule she could not take those opportunities and no one could ask for any better debut than getting to work with Rajinikant. This Bollywood beauty is very happy with the southern movie culture and is hoping to contribute more towards this industry. According to the Telegu cinema news she mentioned that she even wants to team up with actors like Mahesh Babu and Ravi Teja for other Tollywood movies. According to her films are completed at a faster speed in South.
About Sonakshi’s South Indian movie Debut
According to her the role is very well written and she is more than happy to be a part of this movie directed by K S Ravikumar. The film goes smoothly covering both the generations both the flash back and the present times. She mentioned that language is never a barrier for her as she is used to working with directors like Prabhu Deva and A R Murugadoss.
More South Indian films she wishes to be a part of
After having worked with Prabhu Deva, Sonakshi mentioned that she is developing an affinity for South Indian movies and now she is doing the third movie with this director. Its just another beginning for Sonakshi in the Southern movie industry as she will also be appearing next to the famous and talented Mahesh Babu in Shivam, directed by Krish. In the beginning she decided of not taking the movie because of her busy schedule but after listening to the script she had to do this movie. The movie will be produced by Ashwini Dutt under his production house and is basically a commercial entertainer. She will be playing a character named Meenakshi who is the female lead.
Her views On her Debut in Tollywood
According to her tweets the actress reports that she is getting all the Dabangg déjà vu, it was almost the same feeling when she made her Bollywood debut with the very talented Salman Khan. She mentions that superstar Rajinikant is an amazing person who is been very humble throughout. She is open for acting in South movies as she likes the culture of these movies and moreover for her it’s about contributing to the good scripts and good contents.
