Lingaa star casts and lead roles- a huge star cast in the action thriller film
Lingaa is one of the upcoming films in Tollywood starring Rajnikanth, Sonakshi Sinha, Jagapathi Babu and Anushka Shetty in the lead. The film is directed by the much known director K. S Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. It is an action thriller film, the scripts of which have been written by the director himself. In this film Rajnikanth is playing a dual role. The other casts in the film are- Jagapathi Babu, Dev Gill, Santhanam, Radha Ravi, Brahmanandan, Vijay Kumar, Karunakaran, Manobala, Dev Gill, William Orendroff, Lauren J. Irwin, Falk Columbo and Prabhu Ganesan in a cameo appearance. SO we can see that there is a huge star cast in the film and everyone is very well talented in their place of art.
What Mishap took place on the sets of Lingaa? – A supporting staff member fell from height
An unfortunate incident took place on the sets of this film. Reports says that while shooting for a song picturised on Rajnikanth and Sonakshi Sinha The song was shot on outskirts of Hyderabad, one of the members of the supporting staff named Sudarshan suffered a fall from a 5 floor high set up. This is a great height to get injuries all over the body as the shot was ongoing, no one had ever thought of this incident.
Thereafter he was taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors say that he has got many injuries on his legs and back and a slight head injury too. Well, it seems that no protection or support was applied by the members while playing the shot. The whole set was erected and the shooting had to be packed up for days. The doctor who was treating Sudarshan replied to the queries that Sudarshan had no danger to his life. This is also one of the reasons why the film release took a long time.
Music and film release
The music for Lingaa has been composed by A. R Rahman. The introduction song for the film has been sung by S. P Balasubrahmanyam, the lyrics of which were written by Vairamuthu. Here we can see a great combination of talented music artists, so no doubt the soundtracks are going to hit the chartbusters. Moreover it has been confirmed by the film makers that the film would be released on an auspicious day and that would be Sir Rajnikanth’s birthday- 12th December this year. So it is really going to touch the hearts of millions of Rajnikanth’s fans.

Media says that Rajnikanth is planning up for a grand birthday too but he says that he will celebrate along with Sudarshan too. The whole team is invited for the day of release.
