The response to the trailer of Krrish 3 has been quite overwhelming. The promotion went viral the moment it was released and it has been viewed over 6 million times by users from different parts of the world. Just after week the trailer’s success could be easily understood from the fact that it has already been viewed 8.4 million times and continues to be viewed by millions of viewers worldwide. This whopping number of views has easily made it the most viewed trailer in the history of Bollywood. If one looks into the history of Bollywood it would be clear that the only film that went close to this was Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which was viewed a total of 8.1 million times. There are however no dearth of such popular trailers in Bollywood, names of a few of which would include Race 2, Ek Tha Tiger, Agneepath and Ra-One.

In fact at the launch of trailer, Rakesh Roashan the director of the film opined that the first look should be able to decide the destiny of the film. He also added that at his limited budget a great work of special effects has been added to the film and everyone put in their best.
